All students studying in Canada are required to have an approved Health insurance that covers all basic healthcare needs and in-patient treatments such as surgeries. Health insurance is typically offered by universities as part of your offer, so it is most convenient to take up the health package offered. The average cost of a standard health insurance package is about €100 for a year.
