Discover textiles through practical experimentation and design thinking, exploring their societal role and examining topics like the social and environmental effects, health benefits, well-being, and inclusive design. In a dynamic studio environment, you'll acquire skills in traditional techniques such as screen printing, knitting, and stitching, complemented by modern tools like 3D printing and laser cutting. This will deepen your understanding of colour, structure, pattern, and form.Located in Dundee, a UNESCO City of Design and home to the V&A Dundee, the programme draws on the city's rich textile heritage. Many graduates build careers locally and internationally, while students frequently excel in industry projects, global competitions, and events like the New Designers showcase.
