This program develops your understanding of physical laws in astrophysical and cosmological contexts, drawing from world-leading research in space science, observational astrophysics, and theoretical cosmology. In Year 1, core modules establish a strong foundation in physics fundamentals, complemented by laboratory experiments using state-of-the-art equipment. Year 2 explores astrophysics through lectures on cosmology, astronomy, and solar system science. In Year 3, you select two optional modules alongside three core ones, either by exploring diverse topics or following pathways like Cosmology or Space Physics, indicated near the end of Year 1. A research project, aligned with your pathway, is also required. Flexibility allows changes to choices, and switching degrees is possible due to shared Year 1 modules.
