Campuses

The University is based on a beautiful 578-acre (233 hectares) parkland campus, providing a safe space to live and learn. The campus is home to everything needed for a fulfilling student life, including a range of high-quality accommodation, specialist teaching and learning spaces, and a variety of cafes, bars, takeaways and restaurants. There’s also a theatre, art gallery, student-run cinema, two supermarkets, a sustainable goods shop, a post office, and a multi-faith Chaplaincy Centre. You’ll even find essentials such as a hair salon, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, cash machines, launderettes, and a pre-school centre. 

The historic, student-friendly city of Lancaster is just three miles away from the campus and is easily accessible by bus or bike. The city has a vibrant culture and stunning architecture, with everything from cafes and bars to shops and theatres.

Bruce Sewell General Counsel, Apple
Bruce Sewell is Apple’s general counsel and senior vice president of Legal and Government Affairs, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Sewell serves on the company’s executive team and oversees all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation and securities compliance, as well as government affairs. Bruce graduated with a Psychology degree from the University of Lancaster in 1979.

Antony Burgmans Ex-Chairman, Unilever
Antony Burgmans was formerly the Chairman of the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever that owns over 400 brands including Lipton, Magnum and Ben & Jerry's. Burgmans completed a Master of Arts in Marketing at Lancaster University Management School. In December 2003 he received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Lancaster University.
