The second year advances to microeconomics, macroeconomics, and quantitative methods, with additional options.The third year features a supported industry placement, providing real-world experience with organizations such as IBM and the Bank of England. In the final year, students tailor their studies by selecting advanced economics modules, such as Public Economics or International Trade, alongside social science units. No A-level in Economics or Mathematics is required, and the programme fosters critical thinking for careers in government, finance, and beyond.
