You will explore mechatronics, autonomous vehicles, embedded systems, robotics, and control engineering; master theoretical problem-solving; gain lab experience with industrial equipment like mechatronics platforms, mobile robots, manipulators, and 3D printers; and apply skills via individual and group projects. Graduates are primed for roles in space technologies, manufacturing, automotive, transport, IoT, communications, and aerospace. The degree offers specialisation, Chartered Engineer accreditation, and final-year advanced topics including cybernetics, neural networks, image processing, plus entrepreneurship training. Options include a five-year MEng with placement, three-year BEng, or four-year BEng with placement. Study on our green campus near the South Downs, Brighton & Hove, Gatwick, and London.
