Mechanical Engineering with Robotics, MEng (Hons)

According to the Research Excellence Framework 2021, 87.9% of our Engineering research outputs are rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. The Master of Engineering (MEng) programme allows specialisation in robotics and mechanical engineering skills, meeting the criteria for Chartered Engineer status. Students will develop expertise through cutting-edge research in robotics, dynamics, control, and sensors, while accessing state-of-the-art labs for robot construction, embedded systems programming, and advanced design tools. This prepares graduates for careers in industries like automation, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, and renewable energy, supported by academic advisers and mentors.We offer flexible options, including a five-year MEng with an industrial placement, or three- and four-year BEng variants.
