This MSc in Robotics and Systems equips you with specialised expertise in robotics and mechanical engineering skills, enhancing employability across industries such as robot design, autonomous vehicles, automation, mechatronics, automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy. You can opt for an industrial placement year, supported by the Department, with assistance from our careers team in securing opportunities. If unsuccessful, you seamlessly transition to the non-placement version.Our research-driven teaching in robotics, dynamics, control, sensors, and flexible electronics occurs in state-of-the-art labs featuring robot construction, embedded programming, advanced design tools, flexible manufacturing systems, industrial manipulators, humanoid robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles. The course is also available as a three-year BEng, four-year MEng, or five-year MEng with placement.
