Mechanical Engineering with Robotics, BEng (Hons)

This robotics course enables students to build specialised expertise in robotics and mechanical engineering skills, enhancing employability across industries like robot design, autonomous vehicles, automation, mechatronics, automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy. Teaching draws on cutting-edge research in robotics, dynamics, control, sensors, and flexible electronics, with access to state-of-the-art laboratories for constructing robots, programming embedded systems, and utilising advanced design facilities, including flexible manufacturing systems, industrial manipulators, humanoid robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles.Students receive comprehensive support from dedicated academic advisers and mentors to ensure success, culminating in practical skills and confidence for their careers. The course is available as a four-year MEng or five-year MEng with an industrial placement year.
