The Master of Engineering (MEng) degree at the University of Sussex allows specialisation in electrical and electronic engineering, meeting the requirements for Chartered Engineer status. With 87.9% of our engineering research outputs rated world-leading or internationally excellent (REF 2021), our curriculum draws from cutting-edge areas like renewable energies, robotics, 5G communications, and medical technologies. Students access state-of-the-art facilities, including Future Technologies Labs for robotics and embedded systems, and gain hands-on training in sensor design, hardware accelerators, and green transport solutions. Supported by academic advisers and mentors, you'll undertake industry-inspired projects to build skills for your career.This accredited programme is available as a five-year MEng with an industrial placement, or as three- or four-year BEng options.
