This course summary outlines two degree programmes. Theatre Studies explores the nature and function of theatrical events and theatre culture through critical, historical, and practical lenses. Set in Glasgow's dynamic theatre scene, the programme offers strong connections to the arts sector, enabling students to learn from and collaborate with renowned national and international practitioners.Classics (Classical Civilisation) examines the literature, history, art, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Students may study Latin and/or Greek at any level and can participate in visits to archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the curriculum.
