Sociology examines how individuals organize their collective lives, the limitations they face, the patterns of social conduct, and the origins and effects of social disparities. A key strength of our Sociology program, as noted by external reviewers and alumni, lies in its integration of sociological, criminological, and anthropological viewpoints.Theology and Religious Studies involve the exploration of religion, religious traditions, the Bible, and theological concepts, not in isolation, but in relation to politics, history, literature, philosophy, art, culture, and personal faith. We are dedicated to investigating how religion influences political and cultural dynamics.
