Sociology examines how people organize their collective lives, the constraints they face, patterns of social behavior, and the causes and consequences of social inequalities. A distinctive feature of our program—praised by external examiners and graduates—is its integration of sociological, criminological, and anthropological perspectives.Classics explores the literature, history, art, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome, with Latin and/or Greek language study available at any level.
