Sociology examines how individuals organize their collective lives, the constraints they encounter, patterns in social behavior, and the causes and consequences of social inequalities. A distinctive feature of our program, praised by external examiners and graduates, is its integration of sociological, criminological, and anthropological perspectives.Classics involves the study of literature, history, art, and material culture from ancient Greece and Rome, with opportunities to learn Latin and/or Greek at any level. Students can also visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the program.
