Philosophy / Politics, MA (Hons)

Philosophy systematically employs reason and argument to address profound questions about knowledge, life, morality, science, and human nature. We host student reading parties, typically in the Highlands, and maintain a thriving undergraduate Philosophy Society.Politics examines how power and influence are distributed in society and their effects on decision-making within and among countries. Students explore diverse topics, including international relations, political theory, and British politics, with opportunities to participate in our expanding study abroad programme.
