Mathematics and Physics, MSci (Hons)

Mathematics is a broad and continually evolving discipline that encompasses in-depth explorations of numerical, geometrical, and logical relationships. Our program provides a diverse range of courses during honours years, while the ambassador scheme enables students to gain practical teaching experience in schools and develop essential professional skills.Physics entails the experimental and theoretical investigation of matter, energy, and their interactions, extending from elementary particles and nuclear/atomic physics to the study of solids and the universe's origins. Many of our faculty members lead prominent international research efforts, such as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and the LIGO gravitational wave observatory.
