Studying Italian at Glasgow provides access to the language and culture of a major EU nation instrumental in Europe's political and artistic evolution. Backed by a rich tradition in Italian studies and exceptional library resources, teaching occurs in small groups, primarily by native speakers, enabling high-level fluency in written and spoken Italian.Philosophy systematically seeks clear answers to profound questions on knowledge, life, morality, science, and human nature through reason and argument. We host student reading parties, typically in the Highlands, and maintain a thriving undergraduate Philosophy Society.
