Studying Italian opens up the language and culture of a major EU country that has played a key role in Europe's political and artistic development. Glasgow has a long tradition of teaching in Italian studies, supported by excellent library resources in the subject. You will be taught in small groups, mostly by native speakers of Italian, giving you the opportunity to develop a high level of fluency in written and spoken Italian. Latin involves the study of the Latin language and literature, and Roman civilisation. You will have the opportunity to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy as part of your programme.
A local representative of University of Glasgow in Singapore is available online to assist you with enquiries about this course.
