About the course

**History of Art** The History of Art programme examines how and why paintings, sculptures, buildings, and designs across various media evolved their distinctive forms. Students access the University Library and Archives, The Hunterian museum (featuring renowned Hunter, Whistler, and Mackintosh collections), and Kelvin Hall collections centre. A third-year vacation grant supports visits to relevant museums, galleries, and buildings.**Theology & Religious Studies** This programme integrates the study of religion, the Bible, and theology with politics, history, literature, philosophy, art, culture, personal belief, and practice. It explores religion's influence on political and cultural life, humankind's textual, artistic, and philosophical heritage, and its role in politics, conflict, and social attitudes. The curriculum can introduce diverse religions or emphasise the Christian tradition.
