**Gaelic** Explore Scottish Gaelic language and culture from the centuries to the present day, developing skills for the contemporary job market. Study Gaelic folklore, song, modern poetry, autobiography, contemporary fiction, and drama—all through the medium of Gaelic. The University’s Gaelic initiative and the city’s vibrant Gaelic community offer opportunities to use the language beyond the classroom.**Social & Public Policy** Social and public policy addresses global and societal challenges such as poverty, inequality, housing, health, technology, and sustainability. Drawing on political science, sociology, and economics, the programme examines how governments shape responses to people’s needs, welfare, and wellbeing. Gain valuable experience through a work placement with a voluntary or public sector organisation.
