In the English Literature program, students will delve into the full spectrum of English literature, drawing on expertise in areas such as American, Irish, and postcolonial literatures, critical theory, creative writing, and the intersections between literature and other arts, media, and sciences. Access to the University's renowned Hunterian collection and Library Special Collections—strengthened by holdings in the 18th and 19th centuries, travel, illuminated manuscripts, and key single-author works—enhances the learning experience.The Music program is designed for those with practical experience and a strong interest in the technical, cultural, historical, and philosophical aspects of music. Each year, students select from diverse options in music and other disciplines, enabling them to tailor their degree pathway to their unique interests and strengths.
