Computing Science is a multifaceted discipline that spans programming, software engineering, the design and evaluation of human-computer interfaces, algorithms, computer and network systems, artificial intelligence, information retrieval, and big data systems. The School of Computing Science established the innovative Centre for Computing Science Education in 2017, underscoring its commitment to leadership and innovation in educational practices.Statistics is the discipline of collecting, analysing, presenting, and interpreting data. Our programmes are accredited by the Royal Statistical Society and have been consistently commended by external examiners for the diversity of project work.
