The LLB in Law (Common Law) with French Language is designed for students aiming to practice law in common law jurisdictions, such as England and Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Canada, and India. This program is not suitable for those intending to pursue a legal career in Scotland, and it offers intellectual depth through a flexible curriculum with diverse options.The Glasgow School of Law features a highly successful study abroad program, with over 60% of students participating in international mobility in typical years. Language study is integrated into the degree, with French skills developed during the first two years. Students spend their third year studying law at a partner university abroad, where instruction is conducted in French. In the fourth year, they may continue language as an Honours subject to earn a Law with Languages degree or focus exclusively on law for a qualification like Law with French Legal Studies.
