Common Law, LLB (Hons)

The Common Law degree at Glasgow School of Law is designed for students intending to practise law in common law jurisdictions, such as England and Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Canada, and India. It is not suitable for those planning to enter the legal profession in Scotland. The curriculum provides intellectual depth and a range of flexible options.Additionally, the school features a highly successful study abroad programme, with over 60% of students participating in international mobility in typical years. For 2022, Law at Glasgow was ranked 5th in the UK by the Guardian University Guide, The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, and the Complete University Guide.
