The Classics program encompasses the study of literature, history, art, and material culture from ancient Greece and Rome. Students may pursue Latin and/or Greek languages at any level, with opportunities to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the curriculum.Sociology explores how individuals organize their lives collectively, the constraints they encounter, patterns of social behavior, and the causes and consequences of social inequalities. A distinctive aspect of our program, highly regarded by external examiners and graduates, is the integration of sociological, criminological, and anthropological perspectives.
