Classics / Scottish History, MA (Hons)

Classics is the academic discipline that explores the literature, history, art, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Students can study Latin and/or Greek languages at any level and may participate in visits to archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the program.Scottish history examines the changes and continuities in human societies over time, with a focus on Scotland's past. At the University of Glasgow, it features world-leading researchers across all periods, from medieval to modern. The Centre for Scottish and Celtic Studies provides a crossdisciplinary environment, actively encouraging student participation.
