Classics encompasses the literature, history, art, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome, with Latin and/or Greek language study available at all levels. Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour, focusing on how people think, act, react, and interact to inform individual support and address societal issues.At the University of Glasgow, Classics students can visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece, with Honours students eligible for up to three weeks abroad (post-year 3) and financial support. Year 3 study abroad options include Europe (e.g., Athens, Rome), Australia, New Zealand, or North America. Psychology leverages expertise in experimental psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience, with vibrant student life via the Psychology Society. Graduates pursue diverse careers: Classics in heritage, teaching, consultancy, publishing, law, accountancy, museums, libraries, civil service, or IT; Psychology in health, education, clinical/occupational roles, counselling, data, AI, mental health, or academia.
