Classics encompasses the literature, history, art, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome, with Latin and/or Greek language study available at any level. French covers a major European and international language and its global cultural influences, including topics like French comics, song, travel writing, medieval France, and contemporary history.At the University of Glasgow, students can visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece, with Honours students eligible for up to three weeks abroad (post-year 3) and financial support. Year 3 study abroad options include universities in Europe (e.g., Athens, Rome), Australia, New Zealand, or North America.
