Classics involves the study of literature, history, art, and material culture from ancient Greece and Rome. Students can pursue Latin and/or Greek languages at any level, with opportunities to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the program.Film and Television Studies examines cinema and television as key influences on modern culture, offering enjoyment and knowledge. Glasgow, a major center for production, regularly hosts visits from creative industry practitioners and policymakers at the university.
