In Central and East European Studies, students explore the history, economics, politics, and sociology of Central and Eastern European countries. The university serves as a hub for a government-funded Centre of Excellence in Russian, Central, and East European Studies, which organizes cultural, social, and academic events year-round.Classics encompasses the study of ancient Greek and Roman literature, history, art, and material culture. Options to learn Latin and/or Greek are available at all levels, with opportunities to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the program.
