Celtic Studies offers a range of courses exploring the medieval and modern Celtic languages of the British Isles, such as Scottish Gaelic, Irish, and Welsh, along with their associated cultures. Students can delve into the histories and contemporary aspects of Celtic-speaking peoples under the guidance of leading researchers, while also learning a Celtic language.Philosophy systematically addresses profound questions about knowledge, life, morality, science, and human nature through reasoned argument. The program includes reading events in the Highlands, a thriving undergraduate Philosophy Society, and the Centre for the Study of Perceptual Experience.
