Celtic Studies offers a range of courses on the medieval and modern Celtic languages of the British Isles, including Scottish Gaelic, Irish, and Welsh, along with their associated cultures. Students can explore the medieval and modern traditions of Celtic-speaking peoples with leading researchers and learn a Celtic language from the region.Classics involves examining the literature, history, art, and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Study of Latin and/or Greek is available at any level, with opportunities to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the program.
