Archaeology explores how ancient societies interacted with their environment through the analysis of artifacts, sites, monuments, and landscapes. Students can develop practical fieldwork skills in the UK and abroad, with recent participants engaging in projects in locations such as the Baltic states, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Portugal.Spanish, the second most widely spoken language globally and an official tongue in over 20 countries, provides rich study opportunities. In Glasgow, faculty cover diverse topics, enabling students to collaborate with native speakers from various Spanish-speaking regions.
