Archaeology explores how ancient societies interacted with their environments through detailed examination of artifacts, sites, monuments, and landscapes. Students can develop practical fieldwork skills in the UK and abroad, with recent participants involved in projects in the Baltic states, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Portugal.Environmental Geoscience examines the interplay between natural and human-driven processes and environments. It aims to promote sustainability by understanding human influences on issues like climate change, water resources, pollution, and landscape alterations.
