Archaeology explores how ancient societies engaged with their environment through the examination of artifacts, sites, monuments, and landscapes. Students can develop practical fieldwork skills in the UK and abroad, with recent cohorts participating in projects in the Baltic states, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Portugal.Economic and Social History analyzes the evolution of societies through shifts in economic practices and social structures. It addresses how historical populations lived, worked, and shaped the modern world.
