About the course

Aeronautical Engineering encompasses the design, construction, powering, usage, and safe control of aircraft. Students participate in practical laboratories, including jet engine testing, and receive contributions from industry engineers in design classes, along with site visits when possible. The school sponsors teams for national (IMechE) and international (AIAA) competitions.Graduates have secured employment with organizations such as Williams F1, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Rolls-Royce plc, and the Met Office.
