Our BSc Nursing (Adult) program boasts a 97% employment rate for graduates (Graduate Outcomes 2020), equipping you with essential skills in communication, patient assessment, and compassionate care.At the University of Essex, our contemporary nursing curriculum emphasizes practical experience through placements in NHS, private, and voluntary settings in Essex, comprising half of your studies with shift patterns equivalent to a 37.5-hour week. You can study at Colchester or Southend campuses, with corresponding local placements. The program includes support for literacy, numeracy, and uniform costs, alongside requirements for enhanced DBS and occupational health checks.
