The Entrepreneurship and Law course provides a comprehensive understanding of the English legal system, its applications, and the global business environment. Explore how laws are created and reformed, alongside essential skills for starting and managing a business. Key topics include theoretical business and enterprise concepts, constitutional law, and human rights, enriched by industry input on live projects to address real-world business challenges.Delivered at One Friar Gate Square for law modules, featuring a replica Crown Court Room and mock police custody suite for practical experience, the program transitions to the new Business School opening in 2024/25, fostering networking with startups and local entrepreneurs. Learning involves simulated legal practices like case preparation, mooting, interviewing, and negotiation, complemented by lectures, seminars, tutorials, work experience, and self-directed study. Optional placement years or internships enhance employability, opening doors to careers in law, civil service, management, marketing, or entrepreneurship, supported by incubation units and mentoring post-graduation.
