A joint honours degree in Sociology and Psychology offers rigorous scientific training on the connections between the mind, brain, and behaviour, while providing a strong theoretical framework for understanding human actions in social contexts.The programme explores psychological and neuro-scientific processes involved in cognition, such as thinking, reasoning, memory, and language, including the effects of brain injuries and methods to promote health-related behaviours. Students will acquire skills in generating knowledge through diverse qualitative and quantitative research tools, from statistical analysis of large social surveys to in-depth interviews with individuals and groups.
