About the course

A BSc in Psychology delivers rigorous scientific training on the interplay between the mind, brain, and behavior. Students explore psychological and neuro-scientific processes underlying thinking, reasoning, memory, language, and the effects of brain injury, while addressing ways to enhance health-related behaviors. Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), the degree qualifies graduates for membership and the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with a 2:2 or higher.Core modules include Biological Psychology, Cognition, and Social and Developmental Psychology in year one; Brain and Behaviour, and Research Methods in year two; and a final-year independent research project alongside options like Forensic Psychopathology and Psychology of Sport.
