About the course

Our BSc in Marketing delivers a strong foundation in marketing principles and essential management disciplines, covering topics such as marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, research, international marketing, and digital marketing. This equips students to think critically and make strategic decisions, ideal for those pursuing a dynamic career in the field. The four-year program includes a third-year industry placement for real-world experience, supported by our employability team through CV advice and mock interviews. As part of Swansea University's School of Management, the course features excellent teaching from a world-class academic team and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, enhancing professional skills and employability.In the first year, students complete compulsory modules in business management and marketing, such as Marketing and Operations Management. Subsequent years mix compulsory and optional modules, including Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, and International Marketing, with opportunities to explore other disciplines. The final year offers a choice of an independent dissertation or group consultancy project.
