About the course

Our BSc Marketing programme offers a comprehensive foundation in marketing principles and essential management disciplines, integrating topics such as consumer behaviour, marketing research, international marketing, and digital marketing. This equips students to think critically and make strategic decisions, ideal for a thriving career in the field. The course includes a year abroad between the second and final year at global partner institutions, enhancing skills and experience. Delivered by Swansea University's world-class School of Management team in state-of-the-art facilities, it is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), providing industry-focused teaching to boost employability.The first year features compulsory modules in business management and marketing, such as Marketing and Operations Management. Subsequent years combine compulsory and optional modules, including Integrated Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing, with options for electives. The final year offers a choice between an independent dissertation or group consultancy project. Assessment methods vary, encompassing marketing plans, videos, and proposals, alongside traditional exams, to develop research and presentation skills.
