International Relations and History, BA (Hons), with study abroad

The BA (Hons) in International Relations and History at Swansea University examines globalization, human rights, international politics, peace, conflict, and historical topics such as gender, war memory, and British social history. Students may undertake a competitive work placement with the Senedd Cymru/Welsh Parliament or participate in a Parliamentary Studies module, delivered in partnership with the UK Parliament, featuring expert sessions and a Westminster visit. A year abroad between the second and final year allows for global experience.The degree offers a flexible structure with compulsory and optional modules, including ancient philosophy, global justice, and revolutionary history, tailored to career goals.
