About the course

This four-year BA History degree allows students to explore a broad spectrum of historical periods and regions, including medieval, early modern, and modern eras across British, Welsh, European, American, and global contexts. Set on Swansea's stunning Singleton Park Campus, near historic sites such as Pembroke Castle, the program offers a gateway to the past. The third year features a professional placement for hands-on workplace experience, complemented by work programs preparing graduates for careers.Modules blend compulsory and optional courses, such as "Making History" in the first year and topics like the Global First World War in later years, culminating in a final-year dissertation.
