Environmental Geoscience, BSc (Hons), with industry placement

Our Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) accredited BSc in Environmental Geosciences explores Earth’s geographical and geological history, natural hazards, glaciology, and environmental change, including human impacts. You will develop skills in geology, climate science, volcanology, and satellite monitoring, with a Year in Industry in Year 3 to enhance employability. The program analyzes physical environments through UK and international field courses, including coastal, volcanic, and tectonic sites, plus a week in Germany studying ancient volcanics.Access specialist labs, field equipment, and a gear library. Benefit from exceptional fieldwork near the Gower Peninsula, Bannau Brycheiniog, and overseas in Austria, Malaysian Borneo, Mallorca, or Vancouver.
