Our Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) accredited BSc in Environmental Geosciences explores Earth’s geographical and geological history, natural hazards, glaciology, and environmental change. You will study physical processes shaping the planet over millions of years, gaining skills in geology, climate science, volcanology, and satellite monitoring. The program includes UK and international field courses analyzing coastal, volcanic, island, and tectonic environments, plus a week in Germany studying ancient volcanics and a Year Abroad in Year 3 to enhance employability.Access specialist labs, field equipment, and a kit library, with fieldwork near the Gower Peninsula, Bannau Brycheiniog, and overseas in Austria, Malaysian Borneo, Mallorca, or Vancouver.
