This joint honours degree integrates two complementary disciplines, providing in-depth knowledge of advanced molecular biology techniques and research essential for understanding all forms of life. Molecular biology, a rapidly expanding field, profoundly influences scientific domains such as human disease study and treatment, pharmaceutical development, and the intricate interplay between our environment and human health.Students explore genetic processes in living organisms and cellular functions at subcellular and molecular levels, fostering a comprehensive grasp of biochemical mechanisms across species from bacteria to humans.
