About the course

Podiatrists diagnose and treat a wide array of foot and lower limb conditions to enhance mobility and quality of life for individuals of all ages. As a trainee, you will deliver foot health care to diverse clients through techniques such as surgical procedures, musculoskeletal and gait assessments, orthoses, exercise prescriptions, wound management, and educational support. Common patient issues include foot pain, sports injuries, footwear problems, and skin or nail disorders. Podiatrists collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care for those with chronic conditions like diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis.The course incorporates Work Integrated Learning, featuring approximately 900 hours of clinical placement.
