About the course

Global design innovation thrives worldwide, and this degree offers an ideal opportunity to travel abroad, engage with diverse cultures, and stay abreast of emerging design trends in another country. The program commences with foundational units in introductory and shared impact labs, where you'll collaborate with students from various disciplines to address social issues and devise industry-relevant solutions. Your initial studies will emphasize the theory and practice of fashion design, including hands-on fabrication techniques to build essential technical skills. Subsequent coursework will explore global fashion cultures, ethical and sustainable practices, and communication skills. In the third year, you'll undertake two semesters (96 credit points) of study overseas, then return to integrate your experiences into product development, retail strategies, and a major final-year project.
