About the course

Property development and planning are essential to the property industry's growth, covering stages from scheme proposal and site analysis to design, viability, finance, and marketing. This course equips students to add value to land and property as future advisers, consultants, or developers. It provides a comprehensive understanding of spatial and urban design, site appraisal, sustainability, planning, and development management, while developing skills in business planning, client care, negotiation, and core surveying competencies. The course is triple accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), paving the way to Chartered status. Students engage in real-world projects with partners like JLL, access professional facilities, and participate in study visits. NTU ranks in the top three for land and property management (Complete University Guide 2023) and achieves strong graduate outcomes, with 100% of recent graduates in work or further study (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020/21) and 94% student satisfaction (National Student Survey 2022).
