This course is presently delivered by Confetti, though from September 2025, it will transition to the Nottingham School of Art & Design (NSA&D), with no alterations to the course content or learning outcomes.The programme equips aspiring music producers with essential skills for recording and creation, whether using laptops or full hardware studios. Students will engage in hands-on learning within world-class facilities at Metronome, exploring music production from technical and creative perspectives while developing their unique style. Practical music theory will be applied to individual or collaborative compositions in fields like media and songwriting. Balancing commercial viability with experimental approaches, participants will gain real-world experience through live projects, masterclasses, guest lectures, and a final-year industry mentor. Key modules include Studio Production, Mixing, Pro Tools Techniques, Studio Practice, Music Composition, Industry Practice, and Commercial Music Production.
